Taking on to much #8

Taking on to Much!

Ever sense I can remember I have been working and keeping busy. I know I take on more then I should but I do not see why I can not do it until it is to late. Then I usually have a break down or I mess something us royally. But, I never give up and I never accept defeat.

Time and time again I have seen men, women, people do so much and they never think anything of it. From working two to three jobs, paying all the bill, making sure their children have everything they need these people never stop to think of themselves or is it taking on to much.

College students: many if them have jobs they must have to support themselves while attending school, so they have to manage, work, school, bills, and any extra actives if they choose to take them. Some can handle and manage all of it but some struggle but many do not quit and if they do later on very much so regret it.
Children especially teens are dealing with much more then what should really be put on them. Of course they have to deal with all the physical changes that are happening to them but what about all the outside factors. Going to school, being popular, playing sports, having good grades, attracting that special someones attention. Then lets hope they have it good at home because if not it does land on the kids and now they have to handle so much more emotionally. Where does it stop, when does it become to much?

Right now for me everything seems to be so much harder. I know with holidays, school finals, work, family and having a baby on the way, I really should not take on to much. But I really don't know when to quit or when to stop taking on so much extra. I will never give up and I can't. It is one of those things that I just do not believe in.

I will say, we the students are right at the end of this semester, two weeks left tops, and I really hate to see so many students give up. Stressed out and feel that they have just taken on to much. I just wish they could see that they can do it, they just can not give up they are so close and I am right there with them.

  1. I like your don't give up/quit attitude. I'm the same way. I tried very hard to instill that into my son since he was a little tike and I'm pleased to say that it worked. To me giving up on something is like giving up on yourself. Word to the wise though, be careful not to take on too much because we all have limits and breaking points.

  3. It's very stressful juggling so many things at once. I will say though, it doesn't last forever and it always good to keep a positive mental attitude, like you yourself has. I commend you. In the end, it'll all be worth it :)
