HALLOWEEN IS HERE!!!

HALLOWEEN IS HERE! 2

Halloween is finally here again.
 So wheres my pumpkin?

Halloween has always been the funnest holiday for me. I get to make a mess with my pumpkins. Dress up as who and whatever, eat tons of candy and not get in to trouble. I love this holiday and I always try to make it special. I usually make my costumes and I tried to have a theme when my children were younger and I can do something with them. I have now gotten my boyfriend in to it where we usually go a a couple Last year we were a zombie bride and groom and we had to much fun making the costumes and dragging each other around in the mud.

Now it is about them doing what they want to do.
the littlest did not want to sit still, butterflies don't sit still.

I have this big problem with pumpkins and my Boyfriend usually has to supervise me when I go to the store. I will buy about 20 to 30 pumpkins each year with no hesitation. I love to carve and play around with the pumpkins. I get all sizes and shapes because you never know what I will do until it is sitting in my lap.

these of course are just some of the pumpkins we do almost every year because the kids like them the best.

Another big problem I have is the decorations I enjoy going to the stores and looking around but I hate to buy things so with my man working construction he can usually bring home supplies and we make our own. Every year we have a grave yard that we do have about 15 tombstones that we made by hand and they are not light. Then the lights, webs,  and pumpkins all over the yard. This year we have decided to make bodies and we went to Goodwill got some cheap sheets that we will fill with garbage and tie with rope and will hang from the roof and tree in the yard.
I know they are not the best of pictures but I have not taken any for this year because it might be canceled for us. All of my Children have gotten sick and we don't know what exactly we are doing. But the decorations are up, pumpkins have been bought, costumes are ready and candy has not been opened.  I really hope Halloween is a fun and safe time for everyone.

  1. Hi Jenn. Thanks for your comment on my practice entry blog. It looks as though you enjoy life as well. Your pictures reminded me of years ago when my son (now 25) was a little boy and how much we enjoyed going door to door for treats. Thank you for that. Like you, I would go crazy (sorry I meant silly) over his costumes and decorating my house and yard. It's nice to see that your priorities are in the right place at such a young age. I found your blog insightful as to who you are and where your values lie. Keep up the good work. By the way, the spider pumpkin is the one I like the most. Happy Halloween!

  3. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, I love to dress up, watching scary movies, going to haunted house and eating candy like no other. My family normally doesn't put up decorations until the week of Halloween for our party. But we always go all out, spider webs, drawing figure on the floor, skeletons hanging and black lights everywhere. Hope you and your family have a great Halloween.

  4. Halloween is the best holiday! besides christmas. it is the day before my birthday, and i get to drink and have fun. and celebrate two days instead of just one. and its closer to Christmas. which of course i cant wait for. i get a joy out of these holidays not because i drink a lot (because its very rare), but because my son loves watching the kids come and ask for candy to the door he chases them down the driveway then runs back inside.
