HALLOWEEN IS HERE! 2

Halloween is finally here again.

 So wheres my pumpkin?

Halloween has always been the funnest holiday for me. I get to make a mess with my pumpkins. Dress up as who and whatever, eat tons of candy and not get in to trouble. I love this holiday and I always try to make it special. I usually make my costumes and I tried to have a theme when my children were younger and I can do something with them. I have now gotten my boyfriend in to it where we usually go a a couple Last year we were a zombie bride and groom and we had to much fun making the costumes and dragging each other around in the mud.

Now it is about them doing what they want to do.

the littlest did not want to sit still, butterflies don't sit still.

I have this big problem with pumpkins and my Boyfriend usually has to supervise me when I go to the store. I will buy about 20 to 30 pumpkins each year with no hesitation. I love to carve and play around with the pumpkins. I get all sizes and shapes because you never know what I will do until it is sitting in my lap. 

these of course are just some of the pumpkins we do almost every year because the kids like them the best.  

Another big problem I have is the decorations I enjoy going to the stores and looking around but I hate to buy things so with my man working construction he can usually bring home supplies and we make our own. Every year we have a grave yard that we do have about 15 tombstones that we made by hand and they are not light. Then the lights, webs,  and pumpkins all over the yard. This year we have decided to make bodies and we went to Goodwill got some cheap sheets that we will fill with garbage and tie with rope and will hang from the roof and tree in the yard. 

I know they are not the best of pictures but I have not taken any for this year because it might be canceled for us. All of my Children have gotten sick and we don't know what exactly we are doing. But the decorations are up, pumpkins have been bought, costumes are ready and candy has not been opened.  I really hope Halloween is a fun and safe time for everyone.

What is it about Blogging?

I just do not understand the point of blogging? I get social media and allowing us to connect with family and friend that are far away. People have lives and are just not able to talk and send pictures like we use to so the computers help so many stay connected. I personally use Facebook but when I am on it, it is right before bed and I maybe get fifteen minutes. So I guess my confusion is how can people sit in front of a computer all day and blog?

As I read through a ton of blogs I just feel so out of the loop. I have a life with kids, pets and school plus I am trying to make myself better by keeping active and actually social. But while I was looking at some, there were some that really caught my attention. Post Secrets, was one I enjoyed to look at but I had seriously mixed feelings about it. I am a very honest and blunt person and when I have the need to say something I say it. This to me seems like a way people can let some of the skeletons out of their closet without being judged but at the same time they are because millions of people look at this and post to it themselves. 

There were many and I mean many that were just so random(Hullabaloo, and Shakesville) I was seriously confused at what I as reading. Yes they had subject to the post at the time but it was so random it would jump from food to sex to how the dog played at the dog park. I was just not interested I personally need structure and purpose. But again this goes with sitting in front of a computer all day. If that is all you see or do I guess you would just go on tangents of how the dog ran around a tree for 15 minutes.

Some blogs were very professional and well put together but I can see some of those being all about competition, and causing fights. Americablog, was one of the big ones that just seems to scream opnion and lets fight. I worked in a bar as a bartender and the 3 subjects you never want to bring up is Politics, religion, and race, they always cause fights. So when I looked at this particular blog I saw it was informative but also opinionated and that is just not my cup of tea(and I love tea). 

Another one I did enjoy for the view was Bloggies it was very well put together and I really did enjoy reading about some of the places and animals and things to look for, or visit. Will I sit there and look at for hours, NO, but I did enjoy it for this assignment. I did not like that it was all competition but that is again my personal opinion because I only compete with me. I know how hard I have worked and what I have done so who can really judge me. These places and things were all nice but who really is to judge by their experience when another who does the same can judge totally different. 

WE'RE BACK

Well we must be back in Prof. Nielson english class because I am now back at the computer doing this blog.

WHO AM I?

Well I am obviously the pretty in the Picture above.

My name is Jennifer Ordonez I have lived in Arizona for the most part. I  at the age of 19 joined the military and left home. I was soon Married and pregnant and out of the military. My family fell apart and I was back in Arizona and living my life with my kid. After some trouble I have gotten my life back on track. I am now a mother of 3 1/2 kids(yes 1/2 one is cooking). I have a wonderful man who is very supportive and caring. I can honestly and truely say I am happy . Yes I  have my goals to finish school and move forward with life but at least it is a better journey then what it has been. 

Intrest, Hobbies, and Passions

As I said I have 3 1/2 kids so my life revolves around them and what we do together as a family. My oldest is more of a tom boy she like to play video games and outdoor sports. My middle child is kind of a drama queen in the aspect she loves to dress up and put on a show. Then the diva is next she might be small but she has an attitude of a teenage pop star. I love all my girls and it is always an adventure but I would not trade it for the world. 

when I am allowed to do things for my self I enjoy playing soccer,

 gardening, exercising, painting with my friend and a bottle of wine, going to see scary movies and cleaning my house. I really like thing clean and organized even down to how to place the coffee cups in the cabinet.

WHY COLLEGE?

I am going back to school for myself. I have made some serious mistake but I am trying to get things straight and back to normal. I plan on going to school for accounting because I am good with number. Being I just started my first accounting class I have now come to the realization there is a whole lot more to it then plugging in numbers. I am going to stick with it because I never have been able to give up on anything. I also hope with this experience I am showing my children that anyone can do this but you have to want it and you have to work for it.
